Who I'm Listening To - Jeremy Camp

This is another worship song that I find comfort in.  I remember when I bought my first Jeremy Camp CD...I listened to it non-stop!  The words in his songs spoke to me and I continue to greatly enjoy his worship songs.

My Sweet Husband!

So my husband came home today with a bag from Wally World and he asked me to open it because he said he got me something.  Well...I opened the bag to find this:

I have been watching the commercial for this product and I was sold because it looked easier to microwave pasta than it is to turn the hot stove on to wait for water to boil.  Because everyone knows, boiling water is the most time consuming event and if you watch the pot, it will never boil.  I totally can't wait to use this thing!  I knew it was a matter of time before Wally World was going to carry this item because they have a "As Seen on TV" section, I just couldn't believe my sweet husband bought it for me!

But...even better...Brad told me to open the box up and check out what was inside...check out the product.  And then I found this...

O.M.G!!  I totally love "this" commercial!!!  You know the one were it starts off with a little boy in his diaper totally dancing like crazy!  Everytime this commercial comes on, I get up and dance like the little boy and rewind it like 10 times before Hanky goes nuts trying to dance with me.  I can't wait to try this out!!  Brad said he wanted to have some entertainment tonight...hence the "Just Dance 2!"  Unfortunately, I have been working on homework today, so I told him it will have to be another night.  Bummer!

I love my husband!

Who I'm Listening To - Sugarland

This song makes me want to laugh!!  This music video is one of my favs by Sugarland.  Jennifer totally pulls off a stalker!  Hilarious!!

I love the part where she semi-raps...and dances!  Country music is coming into the 21st century, yay!!  :)

Check out the part with the cake.  Can you imagine the poor guy probably wouldn't eat cake for awhile after this video...I know I wouldn't...well...so long as there is something to help the cake down...milk...!!!

Who I'm Listening To - Kari Jobe

Wow!  This is a great worship song!! 

I encourage you to listen to this song and sing your praises to Jesus!  I found this one, for it has the lyrics to go along with the music for a sing-a-long. 

I find myself listening to this song when I need to be reminded how awesome our God is!  I know we are human and the devil brings bad thoughts into our minds when we allow him.  Praising Jesus helps me get back to the reality that He is powerful and the devil will flee me when I ask for his help.

I hope this song is encouragement for you today and every day to come.

Hope for a Cure

Do you realize how many people have been touched by a person who has or had cancer?

I know I have.

My mother's mother has survived breast cancer.  Unfortunately, not every woman with breast cancer has.  This is in celebration for those many women who have fought and survived and for those women who have fought but not won the battle.  My hats off to you ladies!  The Race for the Cure is something that started many years ago in memory of Susan G. Koman.  This is a foundation that cares for women who are diagnosed with breast cancer and helps to find a cure, so that one day breast cancer will be no more.

So if you find many people, women and men, wearing pink, you will know who they are wearing those colors for: their mother, grandmother, wife, sister, niece, aunt or friend.

Everyone show your support and do what you can for you never know what one penny will do!

Who I'm Listening To - The Band Perry

This band has been playing on the radio stations like crazy, but lucky me...I heard them before that!  Ha! 

To me, this song represents how fast our lives pass us by and that we should live today as if it were our last on Earth.  If we were to go be with Jesus today, would we have lived out a satisfactory life or would we make changes?  What a question huh!  We don't know when Jesus will call us home. 

So live like you were dying, love like you were leaving and celebrate the people around you!

Birthday Boy!

It's someone's birthday today!  It's my puppy, Haden's, birthday.  He turns 11, Wow!  I remember it wasn't too long ago that I was carrying him home in one hand.  He has been by my side through it all and has been the best, woman's best friend any one can ask for.  He is getting older and cranky, but he still is my little poopy!

Consumed

So you are probably wondering what happened to me... I seem to have fallen off of the blogger world.

Not true...I have just been consumed with school lately.  I feel as if my routine is centered around these things: Sleep, Eat, Work and SCHOOL!  Can I revisit my pros and cons I submitted a while ago?  Can I change my mind?

I am sitting here writing this, as I know well, I have a ton of homework yet to do.  Please pray for me as I conquer this semester!  It is hard to keep the motivation when the world seems to be passing by. 

Updates: Brad and I have done some improvements around the house and I would love to share them.  I guess when I get a breather... You ask how do these improvements fit into my routine?  I had a week of vacation in September and I had some time to do it!  :)  Besides I have to try and keep it real...occasionally.
